News | 10 | News articles must be informative and interesting and most important... relevant. They can come from any source, and be about any topic of Anime. Just make sure the news is applicable to the UK or to Japan. We don't accept American news. |
Entering a Survey | 2 | Entering a vote in a survey will earn you 2 Zigs. The surveys are the only part of anime.org.uk which could potentially be given to company's as statistics. NB. You may only vote once in any given survey. |
Submitting a Survey | 5 | Make sure that you fill in all the relevant bits. A survey should try and get a picture of exactly what it is that you are trying to analyse. Before it appears as a valid entry the admins may tidy it up or add extra options. But you'll still be credited. |
Hmmm... | 5 | The wierd wacky world of anime. There are a lot of strange websites out there - you may own one of them. We want to know the strangest sites and places. It could be informative. It could be exciting. It could be a unique design. But mostly it's just plain wacky. |
Haiku | 3 | Haiku is a traditional form of Japanese poetry that goes in a 5-7-5 syllable series. The lines do not need to rhyme. For example:
Error 404: You step in the stream,
but the water has moved on.
This page is not here. Haiku are used when errors or certain messages within the site appear. |
Reviews | 10 | A review of any anime item, will earn you a few more Zigs. But don't expect a review of "it's good" to get you anything. Reviews must consist of at least 150 words. Full description and reasons for your remarks are also expected. |
Encyclopaedia | 2 | Entries into the Encyclopaedia are probably one of the easiest way to earn your Zigs. Given the vastness of anime and manga, this collection of information is far from complete. Hopefully this will grow to be the largest source of information on the Internet. |
Style Sheet | 50 | The style sheet is what controls the colours and layout of anime.org.uk. You can use one of the existing styles and modify it to display what you see fit. However if the result is an "angry fruit salad" then it will be instantly rejected. |
