| How do I spend Zigs? | Saturday, 21 July 2001 at 23:00 by Dragon | One Zig is worth about £0.01. At present only one company in the UK will accept Zigs as payment for their goods, and only then through their website. That company is United Publications. Only blocks of 100 Zigs can be used at any one time, so you must accumulate them until they can be redeemed.
Zigs may also be traded in for special offers from time to time. A special notice will appear when you have enough to trade in. |

Once you are registered you are given a unique identity within the system. All entries that you create are logged as belonging to you. |

| I can't seem to log in. Why not? | Monday, 23 July 2001 at 21:55 by Dragon | | Firstly are you truly registered within the site? If you haven't filled in your registration form and submitted it then you are not allowed access to the site. Second, and the more common reason, is that you are using your Nickname to log in with. Don't! Use your real name. Your nickname will be displayed according to your preferences in your profile. |

| What about my Privacy? | Monday, 23 July 2001 at 21:56 by Dragon | | What about it? No seriously, we will never give your details out to anybody else. We only use this as a way of letting you know when somebody has responded to one of your posts in the Anime Cafe or in the Bazaar. Or when we have a major announcement that simply must be sent to you. Which is highly unlikely. As for your passwords: Even by directly looking at the database we cannot see them - they are encrypted! In case you really want to know. Here is my password: (6772846A431F1C790021A36EEF4840AE) - Now go figure that one! |

Bring them along to the Bring and Buy table as early as possible and we will try and sell the items for you. | | More... |

| Why can't I find entries in the Encyclopaedia? | Wednesday, 3 October 2001 at 09:55 by Dragon | | Searching can be a bit of an art, and it may take more than one try to get the results you want. Because of the complexities of sifting through so much information for something very specific, you may not get what you're looking for on the first try, though it is there. It's possible that you entered a query the Encyclopaedia had trouble understanding. If the search returned more entries than you want to read through, you may be able to use some options to narrow your search. | | More... |

| Why don't the totals in the survey add up to 100%? | Tuesday, 26 March 2002 at 08:25 by Dragon | What do you do? Round up? Round down? Or round off?
Consider 6 people responding to a survey with 6 options, each one selecting a different answer. You'd get a survey comprised on 6 answers with a percentage of 16.6666 to the tune of a grand total of 106% if you rounded them up. It is far easier to just round down all options. The additions will then never be more than 100%, which makes figuring out how to display the graphs a little easier.
